On my walks in the wilderness of the "Buitenland", the floodplain of the River Scheldt, the roadside ditch lined with trees and seeping, reflecting water form a distinct poetic shape. The most legible and lyrical image of the three.
The challenge here is to maintain a subtle, minimal legibility even in abstraction.
Intrusive to the edge of abstraction, highly ordered, disciplined like symphonic music; ‘Alles im Einklang’.
